Tiger Gate Entertainment is a Hong Kong based pay-television broadcaster and producer/distributor of action and horror TV programming and films. Tiger Gate launched in 2008 and is a partnership among Lionsgate, a leading independent filmed entertainment studio[1], Saban Capital Group, a global private investment firm, and Tiger Gate's management. Tiger Gate operates 2 pay television channels, KIX and Thrill, which launched in August 2009. Tiger Gate also operates a production business, focused on television programs and feature films in genres that complement its channels business.

Tiger Gate's Television Channels

Tiger Gate operates KIX, an action entertainment channel, and Thrill, a thriller/suspense/horror movie channel, tailor-made for audiences in Asia. The Thrill television channel showcases high-end Asian horror films and thrillers, epic monster movies, and hit television series and also will leverage Lionsgate's vast stockpile of horror/thriller content as well as other Hollywood studio hits. The KIX Channel is a fast-paced, action-packed channel featuring a mix of blockbuster motion pictures, action reality series and game shows, anime, extreme sports, mixed martial arts and fight events, and classic martial arts masterpieces, bringing together a broad spectrum of Asian and international content.

Lionsgate Film Library

Lionsgate's vast library of more than 12,000 motion picture and television titles[2] will be leveraged for content on Tiger Gate's Thrill and KIX channels. The Lionsgate brand remains synonymous with original, daring, high-quality entertainment in markets around the world.[3]
